Town of No. Hempstead Project
The Town of North Hempstead Project serves seniors, age 60 and older, who reside in the Apex Senior Housing Complex in New Cassel, Magnolia Gardens in Westbury, and Manhasset Valley Residence in Manhasset. The Program Social Worker is available at each residence 1-2 days weekly to listen to residents’ needs and goals and assist them to access services they require to function independently within the place where they reside.

- Financial and legal services
- Social activities and support groups
- Educational and nutritional programs
- Friendly visiting and home care
- Applications for Medicaid, Food Stamps, SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and more
- Health Insurance information
- Case management and respite services
- Information and referral
Is there a fee for this service?
There is no charge for this service. Contributions are always accepted.
